Did you start playing recently and missed the past games? This article will explain how to play past wordle games that you have missed. I went back to the beginning using Wordle 1. To get there, I used a time machine: the wordle past game archive, a site that collects the ghosts of Wordles past so you can play, play, play (and play).
Devang Thakkar, a computational biologist, and designer, founded the Wordle Archive in early January and said it was “built with love.” Last week, Thakkar tweeted that the archive has over 100,000 daily visitors, demonstrating the public’s need for more Wordle.

One of the original Wordle’s most appealing features is that you can only play once a day to guess the five-letter word in six attempts. So I feel a little bad about indulging in the Wordle Archive’s desire to devour past games, as if I’m breaking an unwritten social agreement. But, on the other hand, Wordle is meant to be a priceless little gem, a fleeting moment of delight that is reborn every day.
You can play past Wordle games in a variety of ways. Here are the ways.

1st Method: Playing The Game By Changing The System Time On Your Pc Or Mobile Phone
The Wordle database contains a collection of words from previous challenges, as well as at least part of the stock words for the days ahead. In addition, you may play classic Wordle games online using several tried-and-true methods. Yes, tried and true, because we’ve played not only classic Wordles, but also a few future-oriented ones.
How To Try This Method On Windows
To open the Settings app on your Windows PC, press the Windows key + I at the same time. (Alternatively, press the Windows key and select the Settings icon (a gear icon) on the popup’s left side.)
- Select Time & Language from the drop-down menu.
- Turn off the Set Time Automatically setting by clicking the toggle.
- To manually change the date and time, click Change.
- Change the date to match your requirements.
- To play the game for the day you set as the date in your System settings above, open a browser app (like Chrome) and go to the Wordle website.
- You’ll have to update the date on your PC again if you want to play another old game.
It’s worth noting that if you set the date to the previous year, your system could not let you browse. So, try to stick to current-year dates that are closer to the current month. We attempted a variety of dates from this month, including a few upcoming days, and were able to complete both old and upcoming Wordle challenges. Setting the clock date to October 2021 to catch up from the beginning, on the other hand, may result in the notice “Your Clock is Behind.”

2 nd method: Noah Metzger, an unofficial archive
You’ll notice a progress bar to keep track of how many games you’ve completed, as well as buttons for quick navigation to things like Play A Random Wordle and so on. On the main game page, there is also a direct link to play the current Wordle. The older Wordles are given in reverse chronological order (by Challenge Day # and Date).
To begin, click on the Challenge’s title. We’ve selected the Wordle from Day 1, June 20, 2021, by scrolling below.
The challenge page resembles the original in appearance (the feedback system, including the colors, is retained with precision).
Once you’ve completed the challenge, a scoreboard with a colored-score grid similar to Wordle will display.
If you want to see the game grid of the current game, click Board, or Share to share the outcomes.
You can also go back to the main game page by clicking Menu or Following Day to play the next challenge in order.
Back on the menu page, you may check the status of your Wordleing, such as how many games you’ve played, how many you’ve solved, how many guesses each task took, and so on. However, if you click on a challenge you’ve already completed, the game will start over, and you’ll be able to replay it.
